About Me

My photo
Abhijit Basu
My interests are legion. In the realm of liberal arts in particular, my ideal is the Renaissance Man. I myself, in my own small ways, have been pursuing studies of the Sciences, Literature, History, Biography, and a variety of other subjects. Among the performing arts, my special hobbies are polyglot (including Sanskrit, English, Bengali and Hindi) recitations, vocal music and dramatics. By personal inclination, I believe in the age-old Indian value of universal kinship and pluralism. In religion, I prefer the line of spiritual philosophy rather than of rituals and dogma, my lodestar in life being the 'Bhagavad Gita'.
